What is this guide?

This guide is here to support to those carrying out a digital delivery within Defra Group.

This guide documents the lifecycle of a digital project at Defra with the aim of giving digital teams a single set of guidance. It covers how the project should be structured, the key milestones that should be completed and the assurance and governance activities that are currently required at each stage. It also includes information and links to the various departments within Defra that a project will need to engage with.

You can follow this site like a guide or read indervidual sections to suport an issue you are faceing.

Who is it for?

This resource is for anybody who is part of a digital team at Defra, to onboard them to Defra’s ways of working, or to act as a reference resource.
